Alayas 3rd Christmas!

Alayas 3rd Christmas!!! She is 26 months (2yrs and 2mo) here haha! When should you start using years instead of months for your kids age? I think 2? haha!

Nurse

This was last year when we went to Canada!
This was at the cabin we stayed at in Canada. I love this GUY more than anything!!

So Adam and I have been married for 3 and half years now. And he has been praying all through out these years of what he should go to school for and hasn't had anything come to him till about this past week. He just came to me and said "Crystal I think I want want to go to Nursing school, and be an ER Nurse?"So we have been talking about when would be the best time for him to start school and so forth. If he does continue with going to nursing school than he would start next fall.. Yesterday when he was out selling he met this lady that has been an ER Nurse for 20+ years. She was just telling Adam how much she loved the job and that sometimes she would travel to places that needed nurses. She traveled to another state and worked for 29 days there and made $30,000 just in those 29 days. Then she traveled to a different state and worked 12 days and made $16,000 but she worked alot, but it is worth it, right? I'm just glad that he is excited about this and that he has found an answer. I mean it will be awhile till he is done with school but it will be worth it in the end.

So today Alaya hasn't been feeling too well! She has a horrible stuffy, nasty nose and she is way tired, So she was drinking a lot but not going to the bathroom that much (weird). She didn't go pee in the potty today, but she did go POO! She kept saying she had to go to the bathroom and so I just kept taking her in there like 10 times haha. So finally she said "mom, poot!" I thought she had gone, but I just ran her to the bathroom and got her on the potty. I left the bathroom cause she likes to go in private when she is pooing. Then 30 seconds later she RUNS out of the bathroom and says "MOM I DID IT!!!!" I was about to cry of how she was soo excited about pooing in the potty! I was sooo happy for her! So we are getting to the point where she knows when she has to go poo in the potty but still need to work on pee. AHHH! All takes time!!

Potty Training Part 2

So today was a so so day haha! Lets just say every time I took Alaya to the bathroom (every 15 mins) she managed to pee in her panties after taking her to the bathroom. Cause she would sit on the potty for 2-3 mins and say "Done!" then she would go play, then pee in her panties. haha! BUT!!!!!!!!!!!! There was this time today where she refused to put her panties back on... and she just kept running back and forth to the bathroom so I was just letting her do her thing. So I was on the phone with my sister and Alaya came to me and said "POOT!" So I went into the bathroom and sure enough It smelled HORRIBLE!!!(sorry for the details) and sure enough she had "POOT" in the potty!!!! I was sooo freaking proud of her!!! She went "POOT" all by herself in the potty!!! So that made up for all the wet panties all day long. So yesterday we got the pee in the potty down and today we got the "POOT" down so tomorrow will be BOTH, that is what we are shooting for!! HAHAH!!!!! But I can't give up and say "OK back to the diapers". I have to keep going with this or it will never happen and she will never get used to it. If you have any comments or tips for potty training PLEASE let me know!!!

Potty Training here we come!!

So Alaya is now 26months old now haha! 2 yrs and 2 months old and I figured I should start Potty Training her. So yesterday I made it the BIG day. I made her a sticker chart for every time she goes potty on the potty and I bought her these really cute panties. So when she woke up yesterday I put panties on her and showed her her chart. Yeah that was great cause she threw a big tantrum cause I wouldn't give her a sticker cause she didn't go potty yet. So it started off really great! haha! Then I had taken her to the potty ever 30 mins and somehow she managed to go pee in her panties 2 times. AGH! Soooooooo it was getting frustrating for me but I remained calm and just kept telling myself it takes time. So then I changed the time to every 15 mins taking her to the potty. Yeah she would say NO!!! Every time I said lets go potty but she had gone 2 times on the potty before her nap!!!! YAY!!! So for her nap I just put a diaper back on her and put her panties over her diaper. Then once she woke up from her nap I put her on the potty and she didn't go. So I said ok we will come back in 15 mins (cause her diaper was dry so I knew she hadn't gone since I took her last). So then 3 mins later she ran into the bathroom and said "Potty, POOT!" haha! that is what she says for one and two. Pretty cute!! So she ended up going Potty on the Potty all by herself, knowing she had to go!!! I was sooo stoked about it. But then after that it went down hill she peed in her panties the rest of the night. But that was my fault cause we were putting up our tree and lost track of taking her to the potty continually. So we are on day 2 of Potty Training and I know it will all work out and she has done awesome sooo far!!! I'm sooo proud of her!!!
