Cannon 4 months

17.4lbs and 27 inches long

This is our Chubby Baby!! Oh I just love love love his rolls. I like to compare his growth with Alaya and this is what it is.....

Alaya didn't weigh 17lbs until she was 6 mo and she wasn't 27inches long till she was 8mo. So he is fo sure WAY bigger than our Miss Alaya.

Cannon is 4 months!

Alaya will only hold Cannon like this. He is soo big that she can't hold him any other way, but check out her fingers locked tightly. She also loves looking at him in the eyes when she is holding him. They already have a great sibling bond.

She is always kissing him and I mean ALWAYS!

Cannon is already 4 months old today. Man o man where is the time going? Tomorrow he goes in for his 4 month appointment with the doc. He is seriously growing like a weed and I think Adam will have to get another job to just feed him. He eats all the time!! He is so much fun though we all enjoy having him in our family. He has been rolling over a lot more. Talks like crazy, drools, sucks him bottom lip, smiles all the time, loves Alaya, gets excited to see Adam, wants to eat our food (haha!), grabs his toys on his own. Alaya is doing so well with Gymnastics! She is improving every week and can do cartwheels, back bends, flips over the bars and so much more. It is so fun watching her improve more and more each week. We are signing her up for a summer preschool/gymnastics class. It is one day a week for 3 hours. They do 2hours and 15 mins of academics and then 45 min in the gym. They also go on field trips and such. It will be good for her. We will also keep her in her gymnastics class that she is doing now. She is growing up so fast and she also just had her first sleep over at our house with her cousins the other night. They all had a blast (and I forgot to take pictures of course).

Alaya and Adam went egg hunting while Cannona and I stayed in the car. It was just way too cold for him to be outside. We had a really chill easter just stayed home and watch General Conference. I really liked having GC on Easter! This session there were a lot of amazing talks and I grateful we were able to watch it online (we dont have tv). Alaya enjoyed making the rice crispy carrot for the bunny and was shocked that he ate so much (he was craving rice crispy treats for awhile now) hehe! Hope everyone had an awesome easter!!

April Update!

We are all so glad April is finally here! I just now want it to be May, hopefully May will bring us warmer weather so we can get out of our house and enjoy the SUN. Family update...... Adam is still working 72 plus hours a week. It seems like he would never have time to sleep but somehow he does get some. He is getting ready to do his intermediate Emt course with in the next month or two. He absolutely loves his job and is so happy to be doing what he is doing. Him and Alaya go on Daddy, Daughter dates a lot. They usually hit up an Ice cream shop with some fries, water and ketchup (haha!) Adam has also been training really hard for his Marathon this summer. He is down to 183#(sorry Adam if you didn't want me to say your weight) hehe! But it is the smallest I have seen him(maybe the same when we got married, its been 5 years though), He looks GREAT!! He is up to running 10 miles 3 times a week now, AMAZES to me!! Alaya is LOVING gymnastics and is improving every week. I practice at home with her some of the things she has learned to do. She is gonna be in the Olympics someday for sure. She loves her lil brother and is always talking, kissing, hugging, holding him. She also goes to pre-school one day a week and has been enjoying that as well, sometimes she doesn't even want to come home. She is getting a lot better at sleeping in her room. She will go to bed just fine but she always seems to sneak into our bed around 3 or 4 in the morning, which is fine cause she has made a huge improvement by just sleeping the first part of the night in her bed. She is getting so excited for Easter and for the bunny to come visit! She is also learning a lot in Sunbeams, she comes home telling Adam and I what she had learned, its amazing what he mind absorbs. Cannon is almost 4 months old now. He is growing like a weed, I can't keep up with what size of clothes he is fitting into next (seriously). He was just recently on 20 days worth of antibiotics for double ear infections. The first dose didnt help so he had to get on another dose for another 10 days. He was a trooper though and took the meds very well. He can sit up a lil bit by himself with me or Adam with a hand ready. He laughs all the time (even when I am taking his clothes off) haha! He is starting to roll over now! He LOVES bath time and he will try to drink the water by turning his head to the side. He now sleeps in his room in his crib. I think he is already teething, kinda fussy at times until I give him oral gel and tylenol (I thought it was too early but I guess not). He also LOVES Alaya and watches her all day long as she bounces around. As for me I try to get sleep during the night,keep my house some what clean, keep up on the laundry (which always seems impossible). I still watch a 2 yr old girl during the week. I still have 15lbs I need to lose ASAP, before summer which seems like impossible to do right now. Well there you go! I know kinda boring for those who read my blog a lot. I really don't have anything else to blog about besides my sweet husband and kids :@) They are my LIFE! Hope everyone has a wonderful EASTER and GENERAL CONFERENCE weekend!
