Today we were able to go to the Draper Temple open house. It was so beautiful and so awesome to feel the spirit inside, especially with Alaya. I was so sad that Adam wasn't able to come with us, cause he was down in Arizona working but I sure was thinking of him. Its always awesome to see new Temples and just how beautiful and amazing they are inside.

Billy the Kid

So I have been meaning to put some pictures up of my lil brother, Billy, arm. This is when he broke it last month and they had to put screws and pins in his arm, it looks painful. When they put they put the screws in he was in a lot of pain, I mean just look at the picture. This makes me not want to do anything that will make me maybe break my bones. ahhhhh!!!

Having more than one kid.

So at the beginning of this year I started watching a 3 year old girl. I thought this would be good for Alaya to have someone to play with. Well I was just planning on watching one kid, then I forgot to take my post down and I received another call to watch a 15 mo old boy. I said SURE! Well it has been fun and makes having one kid a lot easier, that is for sure!! The lil girl is quiet the handful, she just doesn't listen haha! I'll tell Alaya to not just on the couch then seconds later you see the lil girl jumping on the couch. haha! Don't get it! The lil boy has been great! Yesterday his mom brought him over and within 2 mins he was asleep on the floor haha! So I just picked him up and put him in the port a crib. I haven't heard him once cry. I just hear 2 and 3 year old emotional girls,haha! It has been a good experience for me and fixes my need of wanting another one for now.

Valentines Day!

Alright this is a bit late but better late than never. So For Valentine Day we went over to our friends house for a delicious breakfast, came home took naps, then we had I believe pizza for dinner haha! I do lil things for Adam all year round sooo Valentines Day is basically just another day for us. But Adam did make Alaya and I these CUTE cards. He used conversation hearts in the note and it was way cute! He is always so creative. I got him our favorite ice cream, which is Phish Food from Ben and Jerrys, yeah I know I went all out. haha!

1. I was inactive in the LDS Church till I was 18. When I moved up to Utah (in 2005)I lived with my sister and her husband. They got me going to church the first month of living here. 2 month of living here I went to my first singles ward, met Adam. Started going to see my awesome Bishop, Bishop Gray, so that I could be worthy to go get married in the temple that year to Adam. It was one of the best years of my life!I honestly don't know and don't want to know how I lived my life with out the Gospel.



2. I hate messy cars. I have to vacuum my car out at least once a week. I can't stand food, trash, or a smelly car.



3. I have a hard time drinking a lot of water. Adam has to remind me to drink water everyday because I just don't do it.



4. I don't like talking to people about losing weight or working out. I just get mad, mainly because a lot of people come up with excuses of why they don't work out but complain that they are over weight. I don't get it.



5. I love sitting and watching movies, I could do it every night and eat ice cream.



6. I wish I could cut and dye my own hair. On that note I would love to do someones hair, from dying to cutting it. I have had my hair done enough times that I think I could seriously do it to someone else.



7. I always have to have the dishes done and the kitchen clean before I go to bed at night.



8. I hate when babies don't have socks on in the winter, have food on their faces, don't have their hair combed, SERIOUSLY!!! I just want to say something to these moms.Would you go outside in the freezing cold with out socks? Would you go out in public with food on your face and your hair not combed? DRIVES ME CRAZY!!! lil story for ya...... This past DEC we took Alaya to see Santa come in town on a helicopter(day after Thanksgiving). I went to go get us some hot coco and donuts while we were waiting. There was a family in front of me that had a baby in a car seat. It was freezing, snowing, cold out. This baby had NO BLANKET, NO SOCKS, NOTHING to cover it. The lips of this baby were BLUE!!!! After 15 mins of waiting there this mom finally takes her jacket off and puts in on the baby. I was going crazy!!!!!! Yeah I know and understand that some people cant afford things, but I'm sure they had a blanket and socks at home for this baby. So sad!!



7. I love eating all kinds of food.



8. I love changing my furniture around at least twice a month. When I lived at home in AZ I would change my room around more than twice a month. I love a new look of things and plus you never know what you will find when you move things.



9. I love going through all our stuff and getting rid of it. Since we have moved before every summer for the past 2 years I have just gone through everything we own and putting stuff up for sale or throwing it away.



10. I love having time to myself. I found if I do this a couple times a week I am in a better mood! haha!!

OH MAN!

HAHA!!! OH man!!! My sister took this picture before we left to go to Maine for Christmas in 2005. There is a story behind it...... Right before Adam and I got married in 2005,his mom was diagnosed with breast cancer and after we got married went through chemo. So we were going to Maine for Christmas that year to see his family and Adam and his brother decided to do mo hawks for their mom and then leave it for a couple weeks then shave it all off. They also wore earrings and chains, just totally crazy looking. Yeah it was fun walking through the airport with these two guys that look all crazy, security was on us like no other and Jeremy had to end up taking off his Spike bracelet haha! Once we arrived in Boston his family had no idea what the guys did. They were all shocked and got a good laugh. Adam is not a mo hawk kind of guy, to me anyway. He is wanting to do it again this year. OH DEAR! Good thing it is just hair and it will grow back. We are mostly grateful that his mom is still here with us cancer free!

P.S. My face is really FAT in this picture, this was 2 months before I got prego with Alaya and I know my hair looks horrible too!

Kangaroo Zoo!

Last night for FHE we went to the Kangaroo Zoo. Alaya just loves this place, so we thought it would be fun to do for a FHE night. Here Alaya warming up to jumping.

Alaya started doing this the other day, she is pretending to fly like a fairy off of "Tinker Bell". So her and Adam kept running down the hallway flying like fairies. So cute, oh don't mind Adams non-matching clothes. haha!

Where will we be this summer?.......

We got the text tonight, the one we have been waiting for ever since we came back to Utah last fall. We are going to PHILADELPHIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAHOO!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm way excited!!!!! We are planning on driving out to Maine at the first of April, then visit Adams parents for a month then at the end of April we will drive down to Philly. Its gonna be an awesome summer!! Then we will be coming back to Utah at the end of the summer where then Adam will start school. OH yeah and this is my 101 POST!! Cheers to that! Sorry no pictures today of Alaya, ahhh it's been a busy day!

Growing up over night

Do you ever wake up and look at your kid and they seem like they grew up over night. That was me today. I felt like Alaya looked so old today, which is really sad because I don't want her growing up too fast. I feel bad that I haven't taken a lot of pictures of her lately, cause we just haven't really done anything exciting. So tomorrow I need to make some cookies with her or something so I can take some pictures and show her off. She is so beautiful!! She has just started saying all the prayers haha. Adam and I will say "Okay lets pray" and shortly you hear Alaya blessing Tinker Bell and Cinderella, food, mommy, daddy,etc. It is so cute! She also started mimicking princess characters, like when Ariel is in her cavern and she is singing and swimming, Alaya will sing and do all her motions with her. Then today I noticed that he puts her arms behind her and runs, like as if she is a fairy off of Tinker Bell flying. HAHA! It is so dang cute! Maybe she'll be an actress? I'll post picture of her tomorrow!

This is what I would look like if I didn't have freckles.

I thought this idea was really cute from my cousin blog. So I'm gonna do the same and anyone else that can find your wedding pictures you should post one of you and your love. Here is Adam and I right before we were sealed in the Snowflake, Arizona Temple in 2005. WOW!!! Almost 4 years. Crazy!!! Oh I have to share this with everyone cause it is cool, I think.... So I was reading back in my journal of when Adam and I first met and the first day we Hung out together was Feb 20th. A year later on that same day, Feb 20th we found out we were prego with ALAYA. CRAZY, on how much things change in a full year!! I LOVE IT!!
