When we lived in Orem we had these really awesome people that lived above us, Ruth and Grant. They were such awesome neighbors and they welcomed us by bringing us HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS ( I still remember them yummy!) They also had a lil girl a week older than Alaya. So we would always let the girls play outside and we just always talked. It was a blast. Well they moved to Texas this past summer and they were able to come up for Christmas and we got to see them!!! Alaya was soo excited to see Hazel and they had a good time playing. I miss having them as my neighbors and miss them just to talk to. Thanks Ruth for stopping by, it was soo good too see you guys!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!!

Today my mom is the big 44. I'm so grateful for my mom and for always being there for me. She is such a hard worker. I feel bad because she is the only girl at home with 3 boys. I know she misses having my sister and I around to do girly things. I miss her and I hope she has a great Birthday!!!!! LOVE YA!!! xoxox

CONGRATS!!

I just want to say Congrats to my lil brother Billy and Kym. They just got engaged on Christmas Eve. Congrats guys and I can't wait to have a new sister-in-law.

On Christmas Eve we had Adams sister, Laura and her bf, Rod come over and ate dinner with us. Then we played games, ate a lot of treats, opened a few presents and took some pictures. Alaya wrote Santa a note and made him some cookies. On Christmas Adam and I got up before Alaya, so we were waiting for her to wake up for about 30 mins. So about 9:00 am we started opening presents. Alaya LOVED all her presents she got. Thank you so much to everyone that got us presents and treats! We appreciate it A LOT!!! We hope everyone had an awesome Christmas! We love and miss you ALL!!

Today it has been snowing all day!! I'm sure that is what the weather has been like for many of you. I love it!!! I'm so greatful for it. Today we just snuggled up with each other and just relaxed. Then I decided that I really need to clean my house up. Then for FHE we had a lesson on "Service". We went and cleaned the chaple of our church and It was a blast. This was our 2nd time doing it and we enjoy doing it everytime. Alaya loves it too!! Then we went 4 wheeling in all the snow, which Alaya LOVES!!! We also had some friends over and played some fun games with us while the lil girls (Alaya and Peyton) played and watched movies together!! What a fun relaxing day!!

Wow! I have no idea where to begin. This year has been the longest and hardest year of my life. Adam and I have faced many hard things, that at times I thought I would never make it through. This year I thought it was going to be completely opposite of what is has been and I am so greatful it was. It has helped me become closer to to Heavenly Father and closer to my husband and daughter. I'm just so greatful and blessed to know so many awesome people that have helped us over come and bring up our spirits when we are down. Also to help us to remember to have FAITHand to be positive. I'm so greatful for everything in my life and I just go day after day just praying for help to continue to have Faith. Thank you so much to anyone and everyone for being our friends and helping us through this year we are so blessed and greatful for EVERYONE and EVERYTHING!!! WE CAN'T EVEN THANK YOU ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!

Vegas!!!

This weekend was a lot of fun cause we went to VEGAS!!! It was both Adam and I first time ever going to Vegas ( I know, I know, weird)! We went with Adams Platinum Team and we just laughed pretty much the whole time we were down there. We stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel, we ate some amazing food at Planet Hollywood and In and Out, we saw an awesome magic show, water show, and just walked around and had a blast!

Today Alaya was playing with her Auqaphor lotion and all of a suddent she is saying these letters.... B...A...B...Y! Adam was like what does that spell? She said "BABY!!!" Our kids know a lot more than we think they do. I was in complete shock. Adam and I have been walking around all day spelling baby and asking her what that spells and she replys everytime "BABY!"

NEW HAIR!!!

Today I got my hair done!!! AHH!! I seriously love when the day comes to getting my hair done. It just makes me feel sooooo good!!! So here is my new dew, looks the same as I always but I went a lil shorter this time and I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!

Baking Cookies

Last night we baked some homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies as a family. Alaya LOVES chocolate, and just kept eating all the chocolate chips(notice all the chocolate on her face). She loves being up on the counter with me while I'm making food. She is such a great helper! Don't mind how we look, we have been staying inside cause it is way COLD out!

This morning we woke up to about 4 inches of snow on the ground and pretty much was snowing the rest of the day. I loved it! I like when it snows only for the month of DEC because it makes Christmas so much better.

I'm way stoked I'm getting my hair done tomorrow morning (THANKS COURTNEY!!!) My hair has about almost 2 inches of regrowth, ahhh looks horrible. Anyone that lives up in Utah and needs an amazing hair dresser let me know and I can give you Courtneys Salons number. (I'll post a picture tomorrow)

Last but not least Adam and I are going to VEGAS this weekend! We are way excited cause I have never been to Vegas! Adams office is taking everyone to Vegas, we are staying in the Stratosphere and they got us tickets to a magic show and rollercoaster. WAY EXCITED!!! My sister is so nice and sweet to be willing to watch Alaya for us while we go)THANK YOU SO MUCH FELISHA!!). This is gonna be way hard for me cause I have never left Alaya more than 8 hours at a time and OVER NIGHT!! Wish me LUCK!

SANTA!!

So tonight we had our ward party! It was a lot of fun! We had a fabulous dinner and dessert (I made homemade Key Lime Pie) and great entertainment. Then they said "alright we are gonna say a closing prayer now and then stay in your seats cause we have a surprise for everyone!" So after the prayer SANTA walks in. All of a sudden Alaya got a really serious look on her face and turned to me and said "Mom scared!" haha! It was soo dang cute! We told her that Santa has candy for her and that we are gonna go say "HI!" So she was excited to get candy. So we walked up to Santa and all of a sudden her body just started getting really tight and her legs were squeezing my body(I was holding her like I am in the picture). Santa talked to her for a while and told her "to not be afraid of him and how he brings her presents on Christmas Day". She was mostly excited because he gave her a Pink candy cane that she wanted!!! She was soo happy. The only picture we were able to take was when we were walking away and Adam hurried and snapped one of us. That is why its a lil blurry, sorry! So now she likes Santa cause he gave her the pink candy cane.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DILLON!!

So yesterday was my lil brother Dillons Sweet 16 Birthday!!!! It is soo crazy that he is that old. That just makes me feel so much older than I am. He is such a sweet heart and I love him so much!One thing I adore about Dillon is that he is friends with everyone and you never see him be mean to anyone! I'm so greatful to have his as my brother.He loves building things from scratch and could spend hours doing whatever her does in the garage. hehe! Has built a lot of motor control airplans. He is very talented in everything he does. I love you DILLON and we hope you had a fabulous 16th BIRTHDAY!!! LET IT SNOW!!!

The other night Alaya found her ELMO cards in the game box and so I just let her play with them. I looked over and she had put all the cards in line. She will do this with everything and anything. Her favorite toys to play with are her princess figures and these 2 frogs. She seriously just plays with them all day long over and over and never gets sick of them. She also lines them all up and pretends to make them talk to each other. CUTE, I KNOW!!!!
I seriously don't know what I would do with out this lil Angel! She is so beautiful!!

I'm so excited that it is snowing outside!!! I just want it to come down where you are stuck inside your house. I had to go get a few things at the store today before tomorrow and the wind was blowing the snow so hard it was painful when it was hitting my face. It is for sure freezing outside today!!

I'm way excited cause tonight we have our ward Christmas party. It means I don't have to cook dinner and we get a lot of awesome homemade food!!! I love food parties!

1:I'm very shy if I have to talk in front of a lot of people. My brain thinks way too fast and then I can't talk right.

.2: I have to change my sheets on my bed at least once a week or I don't sleep good at all

3: I'm very bad at folding clothes. I will basically wait till the end of the week to fold them, when I have done about 8 or 9 loads. I hate it!! haha!

.4: Every time I meet someone I always look at their clothes and I can remember what they were wearing the last time I saw them.

5: I like to act like a NERD! No joke I can do some weird things, I think I embarrass Adam at times.

6: I have to read scriptures and pray everyday or else I just don't have a good day.

7: I love watching movies and cuddling on the couch.

8: I love summers the most because I love being outside in the sun and playing in water. I love the smell of summer and all the noise (birds,lawn mowers, kids playing, thunderstorms, and anything else you can think of).

9: I love hugs and kisses from people I love, especially Adam and Alaya. I look forward to them everyday!

10: I love getting my hair done. I love sitting there talking to my hair stylist. It is very relaxing for me. I also love how my hair feels after a hair cut and dye. AHHHH! I need to get my hair done BAD.

Adam

Alright so Adam has been gone since Tuesday. He is up in Idaho right now selling in the freezing cold weather (I feel bad for him and the guys). I'm so excited cause he is coming home tomorrow night late, but he is still coming home. I miss him tons!!! This week has been a long week. First of all we started Potty Training Alaya, I got sick, she is really sick now, Adam is gone. So I just want to cuddle with Adam and drink hot coco while watching a movie, and Alaya sleeps to get better. SOUND GOOD? YES!! So when Adam sells he just walks all day and its flippen cold out. I been wanting to give him a good massage but have been too lazy to give him one (well I give him a lot of massages but it is just when we are sitting watching TV, so its not very good).So I was gonna put a cute note on the front door (tomorrow night), then when he walks in and Ill have candles lit with relaxing music playing,and I was gonna bake some chocolate chip cookies tomorrow with Alaya for him. Then I will give him a relaxing 1 hr massage. He deserves it! He works soo hard for Alaya and I! WHAT DO YOU THINK??????

So today I had a little extra time on my hands so I decided to curl my hair! I really need a hair cut and color done. I rarely ever curl my hair cause it is so thick and takes me forever. So here is what it looks like curled. ENJOY! haha!

Nurse

This was last year when we went to Canada!
This was at the cabin we stayed at in Canada. I love this GUY more than anything!!

So Adam and I have been married for 3 and half years now. And he has been praying all through out these years of what he should go to school for and hasn't had anything come to him till about this past week. He just came to me and said "Crystal I think I want want to go to Nursing school, and be an ER Nurse?"So we have been talking about when would be the best time for him to start school and so forth. If he does continue with going to nursing school than he would start next fall.. Yesterday when he was out selling he met this lady that has been an ER Nurse for 20+ years. She was just telling Adam how much she loved the job and that sometimes she would travel to places that needed nurses. She traveled to another state and worked for 29 days there and made $30,000 just in those 29 days. Then she traveled to a different state and worked 12 days and made $16,000 but she worked alot, but it is worth it, right? I'm just glad that he is excited about this and that he has found an answer. I mean it will be awhile till he is done with school but it will be worth it in the end.
