So tonight we had our ward party! It was a lot of fun! We had a fabulous dinner and dessert (I made homemade Key Lime Pie) and great entertainment. Then they said "alright we are gonna say a closing prayer now and then stay in your seats cause we have a surprise for everyone!" So after the prayer SANTA walks in. All of a sudden Alaya got a really serious look on her face and turned to me and said "Mom scared!" haha! It was soo dang cute! We told her that Santa has candy for her and that we are gonna go say "HI!" So she was excited to get candy. So we walked up to Santa and all of a sudden her body just started getting really tight and her legs were squeezing my body(I was holding her like I am in the picture). Santa talked to her for a while and told her "to not be afraid of him and how he brings her presents on Christmas Day". She was mostly excited because he gave her a Pink candy cane that she wanted!!! She was soo happy. The only picture we were able to take was when we were walking away and Adam hurried and snapped one of us. That is why its a lil blurry, sorry! So now she likes Santa cause he gave her the pink candy cane.

So cute! My boys were always scared of Santa too...heck, they both might still be! :) Thanks for the advice for Preslie. We ended up taking her to the doc and found out she's fighting an ear infection and sore throat...no wonder nothing was working! But we have antibiotics and I think she finally might be getting better! Lets hope anyways! Love you guys xoxoxo
She is so cute!!! I wish we would have brought a camera! Peyton still is talking about Santa. I'm glad you guys came over! We will have to get together more.
